Full Time Quality Auditing/Systems

Our customer leads in innovative solutions to help advance medical research and is looking to hire immediately. Manpower has an immediate opening for a Quality Auditing/Systems located in Brea, CA.

What is the job?

* Develop quality system procedures for the Design Center that comply with applicable regulations and standards, Corporate and Business Unit policies and procedures.

* Identify gaps in existing practices against the procedures and close those gaps.

* Develop quality system procedures for the design center that comply with ISO 13485:2016 and 21 CFR 820 requirements

* Conduct a gap assessment for each quality system element against the newly developed procedures, identifying and closing gaps as necessary

* Modify and update the procedures as necessary, ensuring continuous improvement of desired outcomes

* Support quality system audits

* Provide input to management review process

* Considered as a Subject Matter Expert for QMS processes

* Work is performed without appreciable direction

* Determine and pursue course of action necessary to obtain desired results

What you bring to the job?

* 3 years relevant experience leading or supporting quality management systems for medical devices

* Certified ISO 9001/13485 Lead or internal auditor

* Good knowledge of Design Control, Risk Management and QMS processes

* Exposed to internal and external audits as an auditor and/or auditee

* Good knowledge of applicable regulatory and industry standards (21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, MDD, MDR, ISO 14971, etc.)

* Good technical writing and communication skills

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Plastics, Biomedical) required

* Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures

* Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
