Job Description

Temporary to Permanent insurance customer service position. Interviews for position will be held in-house. Need individual to know how to work on multi-line phone system - answer and route and Internet data processing. Previous experience in ledger accounting: applying payments, credits and debits, MS office software experience, minimal 40 wpm typing. Insurance experience is preferred. If possible, English and Spanish speaking candidate preferred. Position hours - 8:30 to 5:30 Monday-Friday, one hour at Noon for lunch. Some other skills that would match would be someone that is familiar with insurance of any kind or medical billing, insurance processing, data entry. Wants someone with stable work history, more life experience, would like to see someone that has been at position for 2 - years. Would like candidates assessed on typing, word, excel and PowerPoint prior to presenting. She is wanting to interview. We are in need of your assistance again. We need a high energy individual that has a very positive outward appearance and attitude. This person will be the first person our customer speak with and see when they call in or visit our agency. We would prefer the person be Property & Casualty Insurance licensed before hire but we are willing to sign employment agreement based on successful completion of the Ga. State Property & Casualty Insurance licensing within 60 days of satisfactory employment. The licensing cost will be at the employee's own personal expense ( approx $350.00).

Purpose of Position

To provide extraordinary service to internal and external customers, provide sales producers with possible sales opportunities and assist in sales and office organization. Our goal is to sincerely sell to customers needs while pursuing Allstate's marketing focus.

Will be determined by agency principal, and staff and updated monthly. Essential functions listed are primary goals to improve sales and retention.

Essential Functions

* High energy with great ability to multi task client interactions. Employee will be responsible for fielding 50+ calls per day and 20+ walk in clients. This is a very busy office and the employee has to excel and adapt in a high volume of client interactions.

* Answer phone with a smile each time

* Update/endorse customer policies at their direction

* Handle billing inquiries, process customer payments

* Notify Agency Owner of dissatisfied customers and customers at risk of leaving

* Report claims

* Assist in training other employees

* Review new business log weekly with Agency Owner

* Write new business applications using checklist

* Cross-sell existing customers

* Follow up on pending endorsements and applications daily

* Handle additional duties as assigned or needed

* Maintain a positive and self-motivated attitude
