Maintenance Coordinator

The Hours, Pay, & Perks:

You will be in charge of purchasing, inventorying, and organizing all supplies for the maintenance stores area of a top manufacturer. Competitive wages begin at $16-$18 per hour, paid weekly, beginning on a temp to hire basis.

You will:

* Establish design and systems to ensure appropriate control and efficiency of the stockroom - including stockroom organization, accessibility of parts, orderliness and security, as well as direct receiving process for maintenance parts, materials and services.

* Direct overall purchasing activity for the maintenance team.

* Ensure that inventory levels are accurate and at targeted performance levels.

* Manage process for approval of new stock items - routinely review existing stock inventory targets and make recommendations for optimization and cost savings

* Direct procurement of parts, materials and services in support of the planning function including kitting of items in advance of work - continually maintain readiness status for planned work materials

* Assist with planning & scheduling for special projects as well as routine maintenance shutdowns.

* Analyze / stratify accurate data and information from records to prepare reports, statistics, etc.

* Maintain records, files, reports and ledgers necessary to fulfill duties.

Skills/Experience Needed:

High school diploma or GED.

Passion for detail

Effective verbal and written communication skills and listening skills

Ability to organize and retrieve information, and to handle people tactfully and effectively.

Must execute duties with highest business ethics.

Proficient typing skills and to be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and e-mail.

Must be able to learn and effectively use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) type business systems and CMMS systems.

Must be flexible to adapt to changing and varying work requirements.
