Job Description

Operations Program Manager (Contractor)

In this role you will Manage the operational activities around major accounts in a manufacturing facility in the Virginia MN area. You will be responsible for delivering cost effective and on-time product delivery to our major customers. In addition, you will have responsibility for the inventory and inventory management. Finally, you will be responsible for the development of account teams, as well as, process management and deliverables. We are a very fast-moving environment with complex product delivery.



Responsibilities:



· Work with sales and project management to develop and implement programs which support the customer SOW



· Ensure appropriate staffing plans are developed to deliver agreed upon services to customers



· Work with the HR team and manager to develop job roles, recruit staff and fill staffing needs



· Lead the process to receive product, inventory it and manage product within our facility for major accounts



· Collaborate with existing operational leaders to develop daily production and shipping plans. Work to remove any obstacles that prevent meeting those plans



· Support as needed the operations teams and various business units in completing analytics and recommendations



· Communicate with sales and customer on outstanding issues, weekly production calls, etc.



Minimum Qualifications:



· High school diploma or equivalent



· 5-7 years of relevant experience dealing with a fast-paced environment



· Prior experience in managing staff and developing staffing and production plans



· Prior experience with quality systems and production environments



· Microsoft software experience



Preferred Qualifications:



· Significant experience with complex commercial transactions



· Ability to work with multiple sales team members, as well as, operational teams



· Excellent organizational skills and follow up on numerous details



· Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate (both orally and in writing) and interact effectively with clients and business partners at all levels of the organization



· Team player who has the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of business and operational partners
