Job Description

*This is a permanent, direct hire and fully benefited position.

Do you bring 10 years of Operations Management experience in the manufacturing industry? A local manufacturer with a 125 year success history is seeking an industrious leader that's looking to make a long-term commitment to a worthy product line and an exceptional team environment. This company uses lean manufacturing techniques, 5S, Kaizen and Kan Ban. Our Plant Manager will:

* Be responsible for overall product quality.

* Be accountable for maintaining a safe work environment, including worker safety, as well as meeting all OSHA, local, state, and federal requirements.

* Support Materials Management, Planning and Logistics teams.

* Provide coaching, mentoring and training for all plant supervisory employees.

* Provide leadership for promoting and sustaining continuous improvement.

* Perform administrative supervision of personnel activities ensuring all Company policies are applied consistently and fairly to all plant employees.

* Analyze short and long-term production and manpower capabilities and provides strategies and makes recommendations to meet the anticipated requirements.

* Generate and monitor efficiency and productivity measures.

* Provide financial information including cost analysis and cost justifications for expenditures.

* Interact effectively with employees at all levels of the Company and has the ability to create and maintain a cohesive and unified work force.

* Work closely with Marketing and Sales, Engineering, and Accounting departments to ensure that operations meet and exceed all customer needs and requirements.



You will bring:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience

* 10+ years of operations management expertise in a manufacturing environment

* Working knowledge of automated assembly processes

* Proven successes in leadership

* Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, 5S, Kaizen and Kan Ban systems

* Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures

* An ability to analyze data and make sound projections and recommendations

* Full understanding of safety compliance measures

* An ability to persuasively communicate a vision and inspire collaboration



This position offers:

* Salary of $110-125,000/year, commensurate with experience
