Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Receiving Inspector Level 2 shall assist in maintaining adherence of products to our quality management guidelines. They will report to QA Manager and will assist all production staff operations as needed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * This position primarily approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; accepting/rejecting product using tools such as calipers, thread gauges, pin gauges, using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI); and completes vendor RMA reports and returns unacceptable materials. Also maintains quality and reliability of products by performing additional duties such as: * Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor. * Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. * Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. * Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions. * Follows Soldering and Assembly workmanship standards. * Complies with Company standards associated with ISO: 9001 and AS9100. * Identifies errors in existing production documentation and assists quality and engineering staff to execute corrective action. * Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. * Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS: * Micro-electronics, PCB and AOI inspection experience * Minimum High School or equivalent education * Must be familiar with and able to operate and program Automated Optical Inspection Systems like the YESTECH B3 * 6+ years working in an electronics manufacturing environment * Report writing and documentation of processes * Past experience working for an ISO company * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Manufacturing software knowledge a plus * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * High attention to detail and willingness to identify faults in existing practices and suggest superior solutions toQA procedures * Ability to communicate effectively with assembly staff and in making presentations to supervisors * US Citizen or US Permanent Resident in accordance with ITAR compliance requirements
