Job Description

This position is responsible for various aspects of Quality Control including but not limited to the essential functions listed below.



Job Functions:



Perform final QC test and inspection on finished product per written procedures

Perform inspection and/or test of simple to complex mechanical and electrical assemblies and parts per written procedures.

Perform tests on new product and/or test equipment with technical support to evaluate and recommend improvements

Document test and inspection results

Maintain Device History Records

Inspection of returned goods as required.

Return Material to Vendors, to stock, or to the production floor through the MRB process.

Disposition material as acceptable or not acceptable based on result of inspection or test.

Disposition material as acceptable or not acceptable based on appraisal of workmanship

Provides support to SQEs by inspecting all material requiring PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process) and providing feedback if material is not in accordance to specifications.

Inspection of Collagen Product.

Responsible for inspecting and releasing Finished products (Kits, Safety Disks, CRMs) according to procedures and reviewing the paperwork provide with the finished product.

Responsible for the Inspection and acceptance or rejection of material reworked by Operations, following the instructions submitted on the rework NCMR paperwork.

Provide the Quality engineering group feedback on procedural issues that would need update to conform to SOPs.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



Working knowledge of sampling plans similar to ANSI Z1-4.

Ability to follow written and verbal test and inspection instructions in English.

Ability to interpret schematics and set-up diagrams.

Ability to record data and written information in English.

Ability to use electronic test equipment (e.g.: oscilloscope, function generator, DMM).

Ability to use mechanical test equipment (e.g.: caliper, thread gauge, torque wrench).

Minimum Requirements:



2 years technical school or equivalent experience.

3 years minimum experience with production and/or quality control inspection/testing.

1-3 years mechanical inspection experience and/or 1-3 years PCB assembly inspection experience

Typical manufacturing environment. This employee must:



Be able to lift parts and packages weighing up to 40 pounds to shelf heights up to 6 feet.
