Job Description

A Quality Inspector direct hire career opportunity is available in northern Lancaster County to support electronics manufacturing. This position inspects company products at various stages of manufacture and monitors compliance to the company's quality policy. It also documents the acceptance and rework of non-conforming material during the manufacturing process.

* Reviews and reads drawings, specifications, and other technical documents

* Inspects product (cables, circuit cards, assemblies, systems, etc.)

* Utilizes microscopes, test equipment, and standard measuring equipment

* Works with Quality Engineers in the disposition of non-conforming material

* Completes & verifies all required documentation of defects

* Completes required training and becomes certified such as IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.

* Utilizes various software programs including TIPQA, Finesse, Aegis, and Synchrono.

* Uses basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gages

Qualifications include:

* 5+ years' experience in Quality Assurance (preferably electronics manufacturing)

* Electronic Industry standard certifications such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001

* Basic knowledge of technical drawing interpretation, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and standard measuring equipment

* DoD/ Military and International Quality System rules, regulations, standards, including planning and implementation a plus!

* Excellent communication / interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills

* Proficient computer / data entry skills.
