Job Description

Store Manager - Vermillion, AB



Manpower is seeking to hire a Store Manager for a permanent position for our client located in Vermilion. The successful candidate will be able to balance the needs of a safe operating environment, ensuring all the assets are operating at a high level of efficiency, leading a customer focused team, ensuring accurate inventory, and ensuring high quality customer service. This is primarily a Monday to Friday regular office hour position and you MUST have Big Box Retail Management Experience. Excellent compensation and a great relocation package available for those who would like to move to a small town environment.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Build a high performance teams that delivers on the operational efficiency targets for the operating assets and employees under their guidance

* Ensure inventory is protected in compliance with inventory management standards and practices to ensure high levels of accuracy and minimal losses

* Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals

* Ensure products and services are delivered accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner

* Maintain visual presentation of product with corporate visual presentation and merchandising directives

* Perform daily operations management and supervise high volume store, motivate and coach staff to meet and exceed store sales targets

* Ensure that staff are qualified and properly trained to perform the task or operate the equipment that they are assigned to

* Work directly with Sales and Service Representatives to increase and improve customer experience

* Ensure all the assigned tasks are completed on time and of quality to maximize the operating availability and efficiency

* Perform other duties as assigned in a timely and efficient manner



QUALIFICATIONS:

* 5+ years of operational experience in a leadership role in a customer service and operational excellent centered organization

* College diploma or degree is an asset

* Valid driver's license

* Solid critical thinking, analytical and structured problem solving skills

* Strong leadership and organizational skills

* Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and point-of-sale systems in a retail environment
