Manpower is hiring for a full-time Tech Support Specialist in Port Orange!

1st Shift M-F
$18-$20 hourly (DOE)

Tech Support Specialist Job Description:
-Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, phone systems, hardware, or software.
-Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution.
-Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
-Handle various types of cell phones and remotely troubleshoot problems with users.
-Plan for network modifications and configure switches and routers in a Cisco environment.
-Manage the different aspects of buying, receiving, and shipping various equipment on an as needed basis.
-Coordinate with different branches to perform various system maintenance tasks.
-Troubleshoot various problems with various types of hardware (phones, desktops, printers, etc.) and software (Microsoft Office, PDF viewers, web browsers, etc.).
-Maintain accurate records and receipts for equipment and software.
-Accurately log all calls and requests into the helpdesk database either opening a new ticket or updating an existing ticket immediately upon ending the call or at most within 8 hours of taking the call.
-Respond to help desk tickets for employees seeking help, maintains first call resolution above 75%, follow up with employees to ensure issue has been resolved.
-Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software. -Maintain record of daily communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken.
-Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems install computer peripherals for users

· High School Diploma or Equivalent, Associates Degree in Information Technology, Computer/Information Science, or related discipline
· Minimum of 1 year practical experience in providing support in IT environment
· CompTIA A+ certification required
· CCNA or CCNE certification required
· Will consider related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
