Job Description

Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the daily coordination of complex sales orders in the Customer Support Department in the Marine industry. Review and manage customer contracts, sales orders and provide a quality of customer service that aligns with our corporate values.



REPORTING RELATIONSHIP PaR Marine Services Operational Manager



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



 Manage large system spares, repair and fleet support contracts.

 Execute all responsibilities in a timeframe that supports internal and external customer needs.

 Coordinate with internal departments to ensure policies are followed related to finance, estimating, QA, etc.

 Contact supplier/vendor to receive quotes for Jered products; coordinate with other departments (i.e., estimating, engineering, etc.) to process quotations.

 Collect cost data, calculate selling prices, obtain necessary approvals, submit pricing accurately.

 Follow up with submitted quotes to proactively contribute to the development of the business.

 Enforce all safety rules and promote the importance of safety in the performance of all job functions.

 Utilize Jobscope to manage the quoting process.

 Follow and advocate ITAR adherence.

 Perform other duties as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:



* Drug Free

* Bachelors Degree in business or technical discipline or 6 years of related experience.

* Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

* A minimum of two (2) years experience with similar engineer to order complex product lines.

* Must have a working knowledge of FAR and government contracting.

* Must be able to read blueprints with a high level of expertise and communicate with technical users of Jered products.

* Basic estimating experience in a marine or related industry

* Must be proficient with computers and computer software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).

* Ability to function within working conditions and physical requirements described above.



PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:

Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. Employee is occasionally required to stand or walk and must be able to lift 25 pounds or more. Must be able to endure long periods of sitting at a desk.



WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in a pleasant open office environment located at the manufacturing facility.
