Job Description

We are seeking Production Supervisors to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production/assembly workers. This is a Direct Hire position paying $50k-$55k with great benefits.

Job Objectives

· Effectively manage group of hourly associates and support personnel to ensure a smooth running manufacturing operation.

· Responsible for providing a safe and comfortable work place for all associates by, insuring company safety policies are trained and adhered to at all times during a shift.

· Provide on the job and specialized training for associates to maintain the highest level of quality and productivity

· Coordinate production plans according to manpower resources and customer requirements for the shift.

· Handle all employee interactions with professionalism, tact, and respect for the individual.

· Continuously monitor the quality of parts manufactured and recommend improvements when needed.

· Responsible for developing and supplying timely, accurate production reports of the shift

· Effective verbal communication skills

· Plan manpower requirements based on production schedule

· Ability to use Microsoft excel including making/manipulating a spreadsheet

· Ability to use Microsoft word for creating and revising documents

· Ability to use Microsoft outlook to communicate effectively with others

· Ability to make decisions in a fast paced, ever changing environment

· Ability to make suggestions, initiate and implement improvements

· Ability to understand and respond to the needs and expectations of customers

· Ability to conduct all matters in an honest and ethical manner

· Process experience/knowledge of molding and assembly

· Ability to use air tools and show others how to use effectively

· Knowledge of shipping and receiving requirements

· Ability to mentor and coach associates

· Ability to initiate and follow through with a plan or task

· Working knowledge of customer requirements

· Knowledge of part numbers for hardware and finished goods

· Basic math

· Ability to conduct internal audits

· Ability to correct and discipline associates

· Knowledge of how payroll works and timekeeping system

· Ability to drive a forklift

· Understanding of quality system and ability to audit parts

· Represent Core professionally when traveling to customers

· Ability to stock and distribute tool crib supplies

· Attendance tracking of associates

· Ability to read and understand process sheets, able to show associates how to cut and prep

· Ability to conduct associate evaluations and reviews

· Have a good safety record and stress to other associates the importance of working safely

· Know how to use calipers, micrometers, pyrometers, scales

· Know how to use a tape measure to mark tables

· Know how to mix and use paint

· Know how to make labels

· Understanding of basic financial information

· Understanding of mold change schedules, production reports
