Job Description

We are hiring Production Workers to join our team during our Harvest Season!

Work schedule may include up to 12 hour days as needed 3-4 day work week 7am-630pm working either Sat or Sun starting mid August running through late October and may last longer depending on employee's job performance.

Pay will start at $12/hr paid weekly.

REFERRAL BONUS of $100 paid out to any MANPOWER employee who refers someone to work for MANPOWER! (Paid out once the referred worker completed two weeks of work)

This person will need to be able to withstand outside weather conditions, able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly., is able to do some data entry, quality inspection of product, and making sure bins are adequately full.

A production worker cleans and operates factory equipment, puts together and inspects products, and adheres to all factory safety guidelines and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Production Worker

*Starts assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift.

*Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.

*Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed.

*Cleans equipment.

*Packs up completed products and prepares them for shipment.

*Keeps factory floor clean.

*Unloads, organizes, and stocks shipments.

*Adheres to all safety guidelines dictation the production and handling of materials in the factory.

*Ensures that all production deadlines are met.

*Reports issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

*Demonstrates ability to interpret equipment gauges and monitors on factory equipment.

*Is able to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment.

*Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues.

*Pays close attention to detail.

*Exhibits ability to work cautiously but efficiently in potentially hazardous conditions.

*Is familiar with all factory safety procedures and guidelines.

*Works efficiently and manages time effectively.

*Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time.

*Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble small and delicate product parts.

Education and Experience

*High school diploma or GED is required.

*Previous experience in factory, agriculture, or warehouse setting is recommended.

Work Environment

*Standard 40-hour workweek applies.

*Moderate to heavy physical activity such as walking and lifting is required on a daily basis.

*Safety gear, such as goggles, gloves, and helmets should be worn on a regular basis.
