Job Description

Purchasing/ Inventory Clerk

Location: North York

In this Purchasing/ Inventory Clerk position, you'll have the opportunity to coordinate with internal clients and supplier base and process purchase orders to ensure products/services are sourced and made available within the required time frame.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

- Assist the Director of Procurement & Inventory

- Place, track, orders as directed by the Director of Procurement & Inventory

- Manage inventory by doing cycle counting

- Correspond with all departments & vendors as needed on the phone and email

- Monitor & order all everyday required supply items for all departments

- Monitor open purchase orders to make sure vendors are meeting the expected delivery dates

- Transfer inventory back and forth from our location to third party location in the MRP software program

- Verify deliveries are being received correctly into the MRP system

- Conduct administrative duties as required

- Assist in the Year End inventory counts

Required Skills & Abilities:

- Strong Administrative background

- Good computer skills in Excel, Word & quick at learning how to use the MRP software called DBA Manufacturing

- Excellent communication skills

- Strong problem solving and attention to detail

- Ability to perform well under pressure

- Customer focused

Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience as a Buyer within the cosmetic industry
