Job Description

Our Client located in North York (Lawrence West Subway station) is looking for 5 Fraud Analysts to join their team.



It is temporary 6 months assignment with a possibility of extension.

The pay rate is 20.15/h + 4% vacation pay



JOB PURPOSE



The incumbent is responsible for initial review of incoming requests for investigation, review account transactions/deposits and/or new account openings and/or wires payments in order to determine possible fraud type, unusual activity, loss amount to ensure all risk factors are mitigated prior to assignment. Accountable to review all transactions related to investigation, closure, reimbursement, recovery, maintenance and messaging. Posting customer information on related systems and preparing documents for Investigations Teams. Verify all incoming and outgoing requests and documents to ensure accuracy, and urgency using standard impersonations procedures, and templates. Ensure productivity standards are achieved and Service Level Agreements are met or exceeded. Using strong analytical skills, take appropriate actions to mitigate losses on suspected fraudulent activity. Maintain superior customer service in dealing directly with both internal and external clients.



MUST HAVES:



- exceptional communication and customer service skills

- previous finance/banking background

- must be flexible to work different shifts (business hours are 7 am till midnight Mon-Sun)



NICE TO HAVE:



- previous fraud/investigation experience



- previous call center experience

- knowledge of visa/mastercard regulations
