Job Description

This is a 4-6 months contract opportunity with a one of the 10 largest non-profit organizations.


This person will serve as first level technical support to all Employees (phone and desk side support). The position will require a strong customer service focus, and the ideal candidate will also assist with ad-hoc / desk side training.

The ideal candidate will also be a Power User of our Audio / Video systems - and be available to assist end users with setup / use / troubleshooting of AV gear both on premise and being used by remote participants.


Desktop, laptop and mobile device support via remote desktop, over the phone, and on site

Set up and configure all workstation, laptop, network device and printer hardware

Image employee laptops with Microsoft Operating Systems

o Windows 10

Troubleshoot application systems including but not limited to:

o Microsoft Office 2016

o SharePoint 2010 & 2016

o Dynamics GP (Great Plains)

Assist with setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of in-room Audio/Video Technology:

o Crestron Control Systems

o Video Conferencing

o Audio Conferencing

Ensure all open tickets requiring follow-up work or returned calls are resolved within 48 hours

Perform duties in a manner that creates high customer satisfaction and a positive user experience

Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned or as required

Education, Technical and Soft skills required:

Requires High School Diploma; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience

A+, N+, MCP or industry related certification is desired or equivalent professional experience

Windows operating system installation, configuration and maintenance

Windows 8.1/10 support experience

Microsoft Office 2013 / 2016 installation and support experience

Able to train others on various computer software and hardware
