Our client is growing their core production operations and is looking for 25 machine operators who are DEPENDABLE and can be counted on working their newly learned craft when scheduled.

-1st Shift; Mon-Fri; 7am - 3pm
-2nd Shift: Mon - Fri: 2:45 pm - 11 pm
-3rd Shift: Mon - Thurs; 10 pm - 8 am (off Fri - Sun)
-Weekend Nights; Fri-Sun; 7 pm - 7 am (work 36 HRS & get paid for 40)
-Weekend Days; Sat - Mon; 7 am - 7 pm (work 36 HRS & get paid for 40)
•Handling fiberglass mats and rovings
•Keeping the Pultrusion machine(s) stocked with raw materials such as mats, rovings, surfacing veils (reemay), and resin
•Monitor the flow of material going into the product to avoid outages, knots, and breakout of materials Reading Setup sheets to determine the required materials, resin, machine speeds, quality requirements, and suggestions to correct certain defects
•Reading Production orders and understanding their requirements
•Quality inspections during the product run, which may include product dimensions, color, straightness (bow), grooves, porosity, missing material, bake marks, cracks, and blisters
•Reading measuring devices such as a tape measure and calipers
•Shutdown completed products and Setup for new product runs
•Clean production tooling and equipment through the use of acetone, styrene, brushes, rags, and scrapers
•Clean production Dies using a dowel punch, Allen wrenches, brass scrapers, scouring pads, rags, and acetone
•Install and adjust clamping pads on the Pultrusion machine(s) pullers to assure proper pressure to avoid slipping or cracking; Operate the control panel and mechanical switches on the Pultrusion machine(s) as needed for startups or during certain product or mechanical failures; Set Bake timers as needed to prevent Die loading
•Loading and splicing rolls of rovings onto the glass-racks
•Cutting of Pultruded products coming off of the Pultrusion machines
•Assist in relieving other personnel in the area for scheduled breaks

•Previous experience operating mechanical equipment
•Ability to use hand tools
•Experience in using and reading a tape measure and calipers
•Ability to read and understand setup sheets, production orders, and resin formulations
•Occasionally lifting 2 - 35 lbs.
•Standing for long periods of time
•Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as earplugs, safety glasses, and rubber gloves Must be able to comply with the rules and policies as stated in the Employee Handbook
•Must be able to work overtime as required
