Stores Attendant IV


Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from aircraft, trucks or trains and within the storage facility. Requires a high school diploma at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.ADD TO:Minimum Requirements:2. High school graduate or equivalent education and/or experience.3. Must have the ability to write legibly and record accurately.4. Must acquire within such time frame as determined by the Company, the qualifications necessary to perform the duties of the next higher classification in the line of progression, or vacate the current job classification.5. Must meet all vehicle operation requirements as designated by federal and/or state law.6. In addition, for those locations that require a Commercial Drivers License (CDL), the incumbent must obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within two months of entry into this job classification or vacate the current job classification. In addition, The incumbent must obtain and retain all applicable CDL endorsements.7. Must have mechanical aptitude.8. Must understand and perform basic math functions.9. Must be able to safely lift and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.10. Must have the ability to operate the computer systems utilized by the Material Services organization.11. Successful completion of the and Support and Administrative (SASS) and Data Entry tests are required for this position. A Physical Ability Test is also required.
