Job Description

Manpower is excited to connect with accounting professionals with our food manufacturing client in North York area.



Summary: Reporting to the Accounting Team Leader, you will perform day-to-day accounts payable functions in a fast paced food manufacturing environment.



Primary Responsibilities



* Process a high volume of vendor invoices which involves data entry and GL coding

* Process vendor payments (EFT, Wire Transfers, and Cheques)

* Follow up with vendors for payment issues

* Liaise with other departments for issue resolution

* Perform regular Aged Payables Report and take appropriate action

* Produce reports, as required

* Perform other accounting related duties, as required



Required Experience



* Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, manufacturing environment is preferred

* Completed post-secondary education in Accounting

* Strong knowledge of ERP systems, and Microsoft Office

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
