Job Description


We are looking for a competent Business Service Consultant to find business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You'll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our customer base. The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience in Customer Service. You must be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach. The goal is to find opportunities to build relationships with businesses and identify business needs.

Experience: 1 year combined work experience in sales, Customer Service, cold calling and/or call center.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Language: Must be fluent in speaking, reading and writing both English and Spanish to communicate effectively with local businesses and the general public.

Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance to be able to drive on company's behalf during business hours. Will be required to extensively use personal vehicle as part of the Field Business Service Consultant job duties.


* Minimum of 1 year's proven experience with a combination in the following fields of Account Executive, sales, Customer Service, cold calling and/or call center.

* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel; must type at least 35 WPM.

* Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.

* Excellent interpersonal skills as well as great telephone etiquette and good conversational skills.

* Time and Territory Management with a desire and commitment to become an expert in the industry and our services.

* Must have an outgoing personality, highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in meeting/exceeding key performance indicators.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and adapt to constant change with ease.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

* Skills testing will be conducted for all candidates.


* This role will begin in an office setting as an Inside Business Service Consultant for about 60-120 days depending on business needs. After this time, the position will transition into an Outside Field Business Service Consultant conducting in-person, B2B visits and will be required to attend business conferences.

* Responsible for answering incoming calls from businesses requesting Workforce assistance and conducting cold calls to present and promote products/services using sales strategies to existing and prospective businesses/employers; once the position transitions to Field BSC, in person visits and B2B will be added to the role.

* Establish, develop and maintain positive business/customer relationships and channel partners to build a pipeline of businesses.

* Maintain and expand contacts with businesses within the assigned territory.

* Achieve agreed upon performance targets and outcomes within schedule and .

* Supply management with reports on business needs, problems, and potential for new services.

* Ability to receive constructive feedback and natural desire to improve your skill set every day.

* Sourcing new opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/in-person visits and emails.
