Job Description

Manpower is currently recruiting for CNC Maintenance Technicians on behalf of our client, a leading automotive manufacturing supplier located in Hamilton, ON. This company seeks certified professionals to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machinery and support equipment. Job Details:

 Shifts Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM & 3:00PM-11:00PM on-site in Hamilton.

 Competitive and commensurate compensation.

Job Duties:

 Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC machinery and support equipment, including capably dissembling and assembling mechanical devices, electrical motors and gearboxes, hydraulic systems and valves, etc.

 Testing equipment to ensure quality of preventative maintenance tasks or mechanical repairs.

 Documenting and reporting all maintenance and repair activity on a daily and monthly basis.



Qualifications:

 Certification in related field required. Millwright License strongly considered an asset.

 5+ years of experience working on CNC machining equipment.

 Familiarity working with Fanuc CNC and ABB robotics strongly considered an asset.

 Troubleshooting experience using ladder logic, PLCs, relay logic, or other equivalent diagnostic tools required.

 Ability to interpret schematic drawings and manufacturing equipment manuals in order to identify preventative maintenance requirements and to assist with troubleshooting and repair.

 Dexterity required to capably operate measuring tools and diagnostic equipment.
