Shipping Documentation Clerk/ITC - Mississauga

One of our industrial safety companies is looking for Shipping Documentation Clerk to join their team immediately.

What the job is?



Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities:

*Arrange shipping details, and storage if required, for goods transferring to and from site.

*Prepare all necessary documentation in accordance with applicable companies requirements and local and international laws.

*Manage associated compliance to companies regulations; ITC, ACSP, TDG

*As required, lead projects associated with processes involved in traffic and customs realm.

*Provide shipping and receiving reports to assess alignment with regulations

*Tracking of errant shipments and support to correct issues

*Courteous & respectful support provided to customers

*Shipment of goods processed and shipped in timely manner

*Documents completed accurately

*Records retained as required

*Support importation of goods (return engines) as required

*Projects completed on time and effectively



What you bring to the job

*Education/Work Experience/Designations

*3+ years' experience in International Shipping and Customer Service

*Thorough computer skills (MS Office knowledge: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP are must)

*Background in Freight Forwarding

*Service and customer-oriented attitude

*Strong business and analytical skills, ability to focus on key issues and solve problems

*Self-starter willing to learn and assume ad-hoc responsibilities (as required)

*Works well under pressure and time constraints and can prioritize/balance multiple priorities appropriately

*Experience in International Trade Compliance and Transportation of Dangerous goods.

*Accurate and thorough investigative skills

*Communication in English
