Job Description

Manpower has immediate openings for a Production Scheduling Support in Mequon, WI.

What is the job?



· The Material Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring and coordinating the products and materials through all the production phases, in accordance with the necessary approved documentation and to meet the published assembly schedules. Communication between Project management, Design Office, Procurement, Customer Care and with the in-house Warehouse and Test Teams is critical. Facilitates inventory control for the facility as well as the warehouse administration (Receiving and Shipping). Reviews schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules, creates a daily material shortage report, and provides general office administrative support.



· Functional:



o Responsible for the daily creation of the material shortage report and expediting shortages on a daily basis.



o Based on the manufacturing schedules, assesses the availability of critical BOM (Bills Of Materials) material to start cabinet assemblies.



o Provides updated reports, spreadsheets to the Operations Manager detailing status of material shortages.



o Ensures all Quality Assurance and Quality Measure Standards directives are followed.



o Builds relationships at the technical level with Rockwell suppliers at manufacturing locations.



o Perform tasks required to build hardware solutions in Rockwell Automation or other manufacturing facilities using established tools, procedures, and documents.



o Providing security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review.



o Facilitates activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods.



o Ensures materials are received from proper vendors and that they are delivered to inventory, * Accountable for ensuring the finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner.



o Tracks and provides updates to the manufacturing manager and project manager pertaining to status of the shipping and receiving, parts, etc.



o Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory policies and procedures as appropriate for this position.



o Completes other tasks as needed.



o Lifts heavy items up to 50 pounds.



What to bring to the job?



· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent plus 2 years of related experience



· SAP and MS Excel



· Ability to pass background check and drug screen
