Job Description

Direct hire career opportunities for Buyers are available in Lancaster County to support electronics manufacturing. All levels available - Associate, Mid and Senior-level to purchase / procure material for their factory operations.

Position Summary:

* Procure all necessary materials for production and factory operations

* Assure quality materials are received in a timely matter

* Continuously improve competitive posture of company through active source development/management.

* Expedite orders as needed

* Support the bid and proposal process

* Ensure accuracy of records and work with accounting to assure payment of suppliers.

* Provide technical commodity insight to support internal and external issues as they arise.



Qualifications:

* Experience in Purchasing, Planning or Supply Chain preferably for manufacturing

* High School diploma for Associate level; BS/BA in Business or Supply Chain Management for Mid or Senior level

* Strong numerical and analytic reasoning capability.

* Well-developed written and oral communications skills.

* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel / Word, ERP systems, and databases.

* Procurement of electronic or mechanical components a plus!

* Military and/or Aerospace procurement experience a plus!
