Conducts day-to-day administration of the Retirement Plans,
to include the qualified and nonqualified plans. Provides customer service to team members,
works with management, vendors, finance, payroll, data management, and legal to ensure
administration of plans are carried out in accordance with DOL and ERISA regulations.
Performs detailed analysis and conducts weekly, monthly and quarterly audits of plan
data. Researches, validates and provides corrective actions related to plan enrollment and data
integrity.
Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day plan administration and vendor relationship.
* Ability to read, analyze and apply plan provisions in accordance with the plan
documents.
* Determination of participant eligibility and vesting for purposes of allocation of
contributions.
* Detailed audits of plan contributions, eligibility, vesting and census data.
* Identify and make corrective actions related to compliance of plans. Assist in annual
compliance testing and Form 5500 filings.
* Assist location and participant inquiries about the retirement plans.
* Maintain and track open items lists of actions and on-going project items and conduct
regularly schedule meetings with vendors.
* Help design and create in-house, custom communications.
* Assisting in compliance projects including the initiation of service requests, calculations
and research.
Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required:
* Associates Degree or higher.
Education, Licensing, and Certifications Preferred:
* College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
preferred.
Experience, Skills, and Knowledge Required:
* 3+ years' experience in Employee Benefits functions with working knowledge of
retirement plan administration and compliance.
* Employee Benefits, Payroll and/or Retirement Benefits experience a plus.
* Applicant must be detail-oriented.
* Must be able to work under tight deadlines.
* Should be able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues.
* Candidate should have good customer service skills and overall understanding of payroll
deduction reporting and reconciling.
* Proficient with MS Office: WORD and EXCEL a must. Running and manipulating large
data files and maintaining data integrity a must.
* The applicant should have strong organizational, time management and prioritization
abilities.
* A Team player with excellent communication skills.
