Full-Time Up to USD17.50/hr 0.0 0.0As a Production Operator, you will follow established procedures to operate state‐of‐the‐art
membrane manufacturing equipment, including chemical mixing, quality checks,
troubleshooting, and packaging. You will observe all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS)
rules, including housekeeping practices. In addition, The Manufacturing Operator will perform
any additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
Comply with all polices, guidelines and regulatory requirements and coordinate daily activities
with production supervisor
Prepare chemical solutions according to SOPs.
Learn and utilize AB manufacturing production protocols (follow SOPs)
Handle production documentation
Use a variety of hand & power tools, work instructions, and test equipment to operate and
maintain the equipment
Set‐up, operate, and clean membrane production equipment
Report problems with product quality, processes, equipment and materials to management in a
timely manner in form of detailed organized notes.
Being accountable for assigned tasks, communicate status and other related information to
immediate manager and project team members
Participate in the general upkeep of facilities
Maintain inventory of the chemicals and supplies necessary for production
Assist and communicate with other operators. Collect production data and complete daily productions logs
The qualified candidate must have:
High school diploma or equivalent, with minimum two years' experience in a production facility
Ability and willingness to safely work with chemicals, including organic solvents, bases, and acids
Ability and willingness to work overtime when needed
Applicant should be energetic, self‐starter with ability to work safely alone, or with others
Strong attention to detail ensuring proper upkeep of the equipment used on the job
Physical requirement
Frequent lifting of materials and membrane rolls up to 40 pounds.
Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach within hands and arm's length, stoop, stretch and
crouch.
Ability to work in wet environment
Able to wear safety glasses, hearing protector and safety work shoes
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Manufacturing experience
1st aid, HAZMAT or any chemical safety related training.
Experience with good manufacturing practices or 5s/kaizen training.
Fork lift training/certification
Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling an entire product or component of a product. Team assemblers can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. May participate in making management decisions affecting the work. Team leaders who work as part of the team should be included.
