The mail clerk positions are temporary, project based assignments, and are responsible for performing operations including but not limited to the receiving, counting, distributing, opening, sorting, and processing of mail for large financial customer under the direction of a team leader or work coordinator.
These positions require attention to detail in all processes, willingness to learn work processes in assigned areas, and being open to direction from supervising staff - Team Leads and Work Coordinators.
Various roles exist for mail clerks, and they have the following in common:
Must have ability to sit, stand or be on feet for long periods of time
Ability to collect & organize information
Ability to identify and resolve exceptions & interpret data
Work is conducted in a at times loud, high volume production environment
Assigned duties may change based on project/off-project demands
Must be willing to be subjected to background check required by customer
Preferred Skills:
Require clerical, reading, writing and mathematical skills
Must be able to respond appropriately to work related instructions
