Job Description

This leadership role holds responsibility for providing direct oversight to the performance of work as defined by the contract requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Collect time data and check for accuracy.

* Manage payroll issues.

* Work with Shift Managers and Team Leaders to address any staffing needs.

* Ensure each employee has received the appropriate training and certifications needed to complete their assigned task.

* Communicate safety requirements and expectations to shift managers and team leaders to ensure all safety rules are being followed and enforced.

* Train Supervisors and Team leaders on effective management practices.

* React quickly to all safety, staffing, and operational issues within the operation.

* Conduct follow up on all safety violations and improve or apply new training based on the outcome of the follow up.

* Assist shift managers and supervisors with personnel issues.

* Work with primary client contacts ensuring we are fulfilling ever changing needs.

* Review results of safety and training audits to ensure appropriate follow ups are being completed.

* Manage training programs to meet the needs of the business.

* Manage SOPs for all aspects of the business and train leadership on procedures.

* Manage quality and production programs to ensure zero losses.

* Attend scheduled meetings and interface with client contacts.

Qualifications

* Minimum of 2 years experience managing 50-200 employees.

* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

* People development skills including training, coaching, mentoring and team development.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

* Direct supervisory experience as well as ability to influence through indirect leadership.

* Integrative thinker with demonstrated ability to solve complex, multi-faceted problems.

* Ability to motivate teams to produce on-target and timely results.

* The ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions and work well in group problem solving.

* Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
