What's the job?

* Provide support services for the commercial properties that they oversee

* In charge of making annual budgets and analyze financial information to report on variances

* Act as primary contact with all tenants, respond to inquiries, provide estimates, and coordinate moves

* Act as the decision maker for ending and entering service contracts for repairs and maintenance required

* Maintain administrative tasks from time to time

* Collect rent from the tenants, create and keep documents up to date, and make sure tenants follow building regulations

* Travel is a large part of this job, and commercial property managers should expect to make regular trips to their building(s) to conduct inspections and meet with tenants.

* On call rotation with other Property Managers



What you bring to the job?

* 3 years of experience in commercial property management

* Familiarity with and knowledge on property management / accounting software - Yardi would be an asset

* Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license because of the travel component of the job

* Experience in doing financial statements to report on variances

* Experience with tendering and awarding process for service contracts

* Knowledge on property inspections and liaison with tenants and landlords on operational issues

* Expertise on making and understanding commercial lease terms and conditions

* Willingness to work beyond the normal work hours if needed
