Manpower is currently seeking Medical Administrative Assistant for temporary-full time work and commence immediately.

In order to qualify for this role, it is vital that you:



* Minimum of 3-4 years of solid experience in administration in the medical field

* Minimum of 2 years of customer service in any related industry

* Diploma of Medical Administration or Business Administration is desired

* Understanding of medical terminologies is preferred

* Experienced in Administrative roles or Medical Receptionist is a preferred

* Excellent communication skills in English speaking and writing skills

* High attention to details while working in a Team environment

* Exceptional Data Entry and Data Management Skills

* Minimum of 45 WPM with 95% Accuracy

* Public transportation is available and own transportation is preferred.

* Start date: Starts Immediately



Essential Functions



* Answer the phone, schedule and confirm medical appointments, greet patients, receive and communicate messages

* Use health software, and other computer applications, to book appointments or prepare reports, invoices, financial statements, letters, case histories and medical records

* Ask customers questions to complete intake forms or other documents.

* Assist patient's complete health history forms including new employee orientation

* Transcribe, from handwritten notes, electronic dictation or oral instructions

* Set up and maintain records management systems. This includes classifying and coding electronic, and hardcopy files

* Operate office equipment. This includes voice mail messaging systems, photocopiers, fax machines, and document scanners

* Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software to prepare medical documentation

* Keep areas clean, orderly, and stocked with supplies ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.

* Schedule and confirm medical meetings and receive and communicate messages for medical staff

* Additional clerical and administrative functions will be added.
