Job Description

Service/Installer Technician (Water Treatment Products) - Annapolis MD



Services and installs all domestic, commercial and industrial water treatment products supplied by the dealership.



RESPONSIBILITIES



* Responds to calls for service, as scheduled by the office, for all water treatment products rented from dealership or owned by the customer.

* Analyzes equipment and makes repairs as necessary. Tests treated water to determine performance of equipment.

* Insures that equipment is repaired and in working condition. Tests untreated water to determine correct equipment settings.

* Installs, in a professional manner, all water conditioning products sold or rented by the dealership. Adjusts the equipment settings to meet the water conditioning demands.

* Completes paper work for repairs and installations as necessary. Fills out the repairs and installations orders completely and properly at the job site. Returns the completed orders to the office at the end of the workday with the required forms from the office. Fills out necessary forms for warranted parts and submits to the dealership/service manager for processing.

* May be required to deliver salt, tanks and chemicals.

* May be required to substitute for route drivers and plant regeneration personnel.

* Responsible for all customer keys associated with the scheduled work orders.

* Must return keys to the office manager upon completion of day's work.

* Performs daily truck inspection of oil, tire wear, mirrors, lights, etc.

* Reports mechanical problems immediately to service/dealership manager. Keeps truck clean and neatly organized.

* Reports all accidents, personal and property, to dealership manager immediately.

* Communicates in a positive manner with customers and maintains positive public relations for the company.



REQUIREMENTS



High School diploma or equivalent plus 3-4 years similar or industrial related experience.



Valid driver's license and all necessary state required special motor vehicle operation certifications.



Must have all necessary state and local plumbing licenses (if required).
