Job Description

Performs clerical accounting tasks for Accounting and Purchasing Departments, primarily related to completing the Accounts Payable 3-way match between invoice, P.O., and Receiver, and updating the Open P.O. report once the 3-way match is complete.

1. Process Receivers in accounting system and retain P.O. until invoice is received. Daily processing required.

2. Enter invoices in accounting system. Match with Receivers and determine any discrepancies. Daily processing required.

3. Prepare payable's for review by Accountant I. Make adjustments as directed prior to payment.

4. Enter production time sheet data as received on a weekly basis for monthly journal entries.

5. Other duties as assigned by management.

1.Education and/or experience: Minimum of HS diploma/GED or 1 year of related experience.

2.Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of the Internet for research purposes. Knowledge of accounting software helpful.

3.Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

4.Organization: Ability to be highly organized, detail oriented and able to respond to change quickly.
