Job Description

Manpower is NOW HIRING Production Supervisors for an industrial producer of blue cheese products located in Barron County.

What is the Job? (included but not limited to)
-Compliance of all Safety Rules, Procedures and Policies.
-Follow all Good Sanitation and Housekeeping Practices.
-Show respect and courtesy to fellow team members and their values and maintain a behavior that assists in the efficient production of our products.
-Works with plant management and other supervisory staff to assign, direct, review and monitor work of supervised staff to maximize productivity in the plant.
-Coordinates production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of production run assignments.
-Coordinate and conduct employee training (i.e. job, safety, etc.) and monitor work performance.
-Trains and instructs employees regarding production and equipment standards and processes. Oversees instruction, implementation and enforcement of policies as they relate to employees.
-Adhere to the code of ethics and actively apply company values.

What You Bring to the Job? (included but not limited to)
-Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
-One to three years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
-Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and computer-based applications.
-Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
-Ability to select, lead, coach, influence, motivate, develop, engage and retain a team of employees.
-Ability to work flexible hours including weekends in support of plant operations.
