Job Description

Our client, a leader in the cosmetic industry located in North York is looking for a passionate and creative QA Administrative Assistant to join their growing team for a four (4) month contract. The QA Administrative Assistant will be responsible for collecting, compiling, reviewing, filing, and maintaining manufacturing records and files of the Quality Department.

Responsibilities:

* Support Good Manufacturing Practices and overall operations of the Quality department

* Champion Good Documentation Practices throughout the facility; aides in collecting, compiling, and reviewing documents, hard and soft copy filing

* Review user documentation for a variety of material including forms and standard documents

* Submit work to stakeholders for feedback and/or approval and communicate issues where identified

* May assist with employee training, managing and updating lists

Requirements & Qualifications:

* Experience performing administrative duties; managing and distributing information

* Can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail; good written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work with minimal supervision

* Candidates with knowledge/experience relative to Quality Assurance, GMP and GDP in a manufacturing environment is preferred

* Must be able to work both independently and with cross-functional teams, meet deadlines, and perform and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.

* Requires use of discretionary initiative and judgment when handling confidential information.

* Candidate must be able to handle fast-paced environment while maintaining close attention to deadlines, detail, and quality of workmanship

* Experience working with MS Office (specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

* Proficient in reviewing information, both written and electronic

* Ability to interpret technical documentation standards
