Wood Manufacturing Position in Sumas for a company that values Safety and Quality!



This is a Stable, Full-Time Career Opportunity. Experience in production is a plus, but not required. There is opportunity for advancement, and Full Benefits are offered following 30 days after Permanent Hire. Perm Benefits include Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off 92 hours a year (for vacation/sick leave) as well as 10 Paid Holidays a year and Safety incentives!



Current shifts/Pay:



Day-6:00am-2:30pm Monday- Friday (8 hour shifts)



Graveyard 9:30pm-6am Sunday-Thursday (10 hour shifts)

In this position you will be working for a busy and organized lumber mill. You will be producing high value lumber to supply for building decking, trim work, trusses, furniture etc.



This is a temp to hire position, offering amazing benefits when hired on permanently through the company. Prior to being hired on permanently, you will be treated like a part of the team, which will include being involved in bi-monthly lunches/BBQ's, being eligible for quarterly bonuses and having holidays off. After being hired on permanently, benefits will include medical/dental, and paid vacation/sick leave.



Job Requirements:



PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, walk and perform repetitious movement. Able to lift 50+ lbs.



COMMUNICATION: Has the ability to speak, read and write in English. Understands and follows directions accurately. Able to verbalize concerns and improvement ideas.



SAFETY: Understands and follows all safety and personnel policies. Performs job in a manner that is safe for employees and avoids damage to materials and equipment.



WORKMANSHIP: Works quickly, productively and safely to meet customer quality, service targets and needs.



TECHNICAL: Able to use applicable tools, and understand the processes required for the area.



TEAMWORK: Part of an efficient and respectful work team. Flexible in assisting other team members.



ATTENDANCE: Reliable & shows up to work on time every day. Must have reliable transportation. Prompt to return from breaks and prepared to work when bell rings. Flexible to work hours needed to meet customer demand.
