Job Description

This employee receives instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor and Inbound Logistics Coordinator. The employee is responsible for ensuring that all teams are supplied with adequate materials necessary to run the scheduled jobs and that the work area is cleaned and arranged according to any specific job criteria. Transporting of both raw material, sub assembles, and finished products with the use of power equipment to mulit locations within the factory. Insuring both physical and electronic movements occur in a quick and timely fashion. Must have 2-3 yrs of forklift experience.



Prefer one to two years experience in plastics manufacturing environment. Prefer one to two years experience of power equipment operation. One year materials inventory control knowledge preferred. Some problem solving knowledge required. Good communication skills required. You must have the ability to relate well with people at all levels in the department. Candidates must be flexible with time and have at least 3 years of experience operating stand-up, sit-down and Raymond - swing forklifts.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

4.1 The utility person must demonstrate the following traits and characteristics:

1. Ability to follow direction from higher level co-workers.

2. Ability to work with numbers accurately and have a working knowledge of

materials and their characteristics.

3. Have a valid fork lift operator's license and working understanding of different

types of power equipment. Able to perform on different types of equipment.

i.e. Standard Sit Down Fork Lift, Reach Narrow Isle Lifts, and Fixed Isle

Swing Lifts.

4. Examples of work situations where attention to detail is very important.

5. Role models effective oral and written skills.

6. Ability to use the Manufacturing MATech system or knowledge of system type

scheduling tools and data collection methods.

7. Ability to use the TASUS Business System associated with material's supply

and product movement knowledge of system methods associated Material

Management and Inventory Control.

8. Understanding inventory locations and control (FIFO, Material locations,

ETC.) methods.

9. Clear understanding of basic level materials activities.

10. Ability to follow written process documents and work instructions.

11. Ability to use PSDM (Problem Solving Decision Making) tools.

12. Team based understanding in a contiues manufacturing material flow factory.
