Job Description

Job Description: This position is to build and assemble SMARTruck fuel delivery data capture systems for sale to the fuel distribution industry and to support the production team with other activities such as inventory control, shipping, and receiving. $18-$25/hour.

Ongoing non-managerial duties and responsibilities

* Build SMARTruck systems to meet demand

* Assemble various kits and harnesses

* Create system configurations in ICM that are used for picking

* Monitor and requisition assembly hardware as necessary

* Integrate product changes or improvements into the BOM and test as necessary

* Trouble shoot systems as needed

* Participate in physical inventory counts

* Provide back-up support to other team members as necessary

* Participate in housekeeping activities

* Assist in system installations as needed (some travel possible once experience level established)

Required Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:

These are skills, abilities, and knowledge, that a candidate MUST have in order to be considered for the position. Lack of these requirements will preclude candidate from consideration.

* HS Diploma

* To be considered for an interview, the successful candidate will have skills in wiring, making wiring connections, basic electrical understanding and assembly skills.

* Skills with small power tools such as drills, grinders, voltage meters and the like will benefit the candidate greatly

* MS Office computer skills with some basic excel skills needed

* Attributes for success

* It would be an added advantage if the candidate has experience in the fuel distribution business and some experience in handheld computers such as Motorola MC67's and Samsung galaxy tablets and other programmable devices
