Support HSE directives by ensuring that PCL processes are held to the highest safety standards

Review existing inventory plans and develop new processes to create plans to continuously improve days on hand and number of turns per month

Pursue and implement improvement opportunities within the planning activity, including forecasting, demand planning, order processing

Track production load/capacities and inventory levels (to include Raw Materials, Components, WIP, Finished Goods) to ensure material availability and timely release to production in order to achieve OTD objectives

Work closely and proactively with purchasing to establish and maintain inventory levels that support the operational schedule

Develop standardized work instructions and best practices for production processing, ensure implementation, and provide necessary follow up to verify effectiveness.

Drive 5S initiative in the warehouse, dock and storage areas

Creation of controlled documents and procedures supporting ISO9000:2015

Knowledge/Skill Requirements



ERP systems - JDE

Demand planning - Kanban sizing, min/max levels

Proficient computer user able to communicate (writing/oral) at all levels.

Analytical skills and should be detail-oriented.

Ability to adapt into a team or a solo role as projects and the business needs allow

World Class Manufacturing/Lean Manufacturing tools. Capable of complex data analysis and use of analytical tools such as root cause analysis/8D methodology

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Preferably in Business, Operations Management or Supply Chain*

Experience:



7-10 years in a supply chain, materials planning, purchasing and logistics

At least 5 years experience in a leadership role overseeing the work of a team including hiring, training, performance evaluation, coaching and mentoring

Experience in a manufacturing environment required

Problem Solving & Complexity:



Understanding of problem solving methodology and ability to function independently as well as in a team to solve issues.

Ability to plan, schedule and manage projects to timely completion

Ability to formulate written project reports
