What you'll be doing:



Ensuring operation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on electrical motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

Locating sources of problems by listening to the Operators, observing equipment operation, listening for problems, using testing instruments and using a step-by-step problem-solving approach.

Removing defective parts by dismantling devices using both hand and power tools.

Using recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed and effectively using Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures when working on equipment.

Controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

Fabricating repair parts by using machine instrumentation and equipment.

Maintaining equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

Ensuring materials are stored in the designated area of the facility.

Operation Monitoring: Observes moving equipment, looks at gauges, dials, or other indicators to assess equipment performance.

Troubleshooting: Determines causes of machine downtime, poor quality or performance and decides on best course of action to temporarily correct with future permanent fix planned.



Who were looking for:



Someone with 5 - 10 years of experience in the following:

-Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills



Someone who has worked in the food and beverage industry

Someone who has working knowledge of fabrication, and machine shop tools

Someone who is able to work any shifts

Someone who is able to be reached on emergency calls 24/7

Someone who is able to communicate effectively in written and oral language

Someone with a "Yes, can do!" Attitude

Someone who is Bilingual - English/Spanish Preferred

Able to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.
