We are currently recruiting for a Medical Sales Incentive Compensation Specialist for a short-term role. Our client is looking for someone to fill in through June and July, working full time in June and cutting back to part time during July. The pay range is $35 - $50 an hour, dependent on experience. The Sales Incentive Compensation Specialist supports the U.S. IFCN Medical Sales organization, providing leadership for required data, systems, methodology and processes for sales management Annual Performance Plans (APP) and sales representative Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) programs.

Dimensions of Role

Assigned functions include: Medical sales force Incentive compensation plans, budgets, and payout administration - Leadership Reporting and Individual Scorecard production - Goal alignment, methodology and distribution spread against US objectives - Adhoc analysis of field sales business performance with an emphasis on geographic based goal attainment - Manages all sales contests that connects to brand targeting strategy.

Systems and processes include: Incentive compensation processing system(s) - Nielsen and point-of-sale data base repository - Sales force automation system database containing field activity and hospital shipments - Clear understanding & use of Consumer Tracking Study data.


* manage all aspects of complex medical incentive compensation program, includes field representatives, managers & directors

* Manages IC retail sales database that supports IC and analytical functions

* Develops new compensation ideas, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the organization's business strategies

* Manages external 3rd party vendor on execution of IC program and scorecard system.

* Communicates program details to all levels of the organization.

* Collaborates with Brand and Medical Marketing to evaluate, create and manage adhoc sales contests.

* First line of support for field IC related questions, troubleshooting, and analysis of complex financial impact to both budget and/or payouts.

* Continuous evaluation of IC program & goal setting

* Leads collaboration with Finance and HR Compensation teams for budget, accruals, payout projections, plan audits and payout execution.

* Obtains retail data from Retail sales and performs quality control on IC source input information and scorecard audits

* Manages process and tracking of results for field rankings, trip eligibility, National Sales Meeting awards and Contests.

Professional Qualifications

* BA/BS degree in Business Management, Marketing, Mathematics or other hard sciences required

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in analysis related to sales operations, sales force effectiveness, financial budget/goal setting/tracking, marketing analytics or incentive compensation strategy

* Pharmaceutical sales, sales operations or marketing experience is a plus

* Must have experience with database management, computer software technical skills and data quality control techniques. SQL is a plus.

* Proven experience in managing multiple internal/external projects at the same time

* Has working knowledge of business analysis techniques, use of quantitative models/methods, and a sound understanding of financial/ROI principles

* Must have strong organization skills and ability to interact under pressure
