POSITION SUMMARY:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician II is responsible for repairs and maintenance to the building and outside grounds. As a facilities technician you will be subjected to being on call on the weekends in case of an emergency situation.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Perform manufactures recommended preventive maintenance (PM) on dock levers, evaporator coils, refrigeration units, and door seals to minimize the possibility of a breakdown.

* Must have experience with all industrial related systems - plumbing, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and HVAC (certification not needed).

* Follow all of required use of personal protective (PPE), hot work permits, monthly lanyard inspections, lockout tagout, and general safety regulations set forth by Safety department and OSHA.

* Ensure that any repairs made don't violate any state, national, local, or any industrial codes and within manufacture's instructions and recommendations.

* Attend training and practice knowledge of SOP's and all company policies and procedures as they relate to food and associate safety practices.

* Work positively with co-workers and member of management

* Abide by company's Code of Business Conduct

* Actively look for opportunities to improve services and share those ideas with others.

* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

* Utilize company's preferred work methods and best practices.

* Must be able to work overtime as needed or required.

* Must be dependable, consistently at work on time, follow instructions, respond to management direction, and deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.



QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* High School graduate, GED, or equivalent experience

* Trade School Degree in HVAC preferred

* EPA certification preferred

* Two (2) years related industrial maintenance and facilities mechanic experience preferred.
