DEPARTMENT: 05 - Finish/Toolmaking

JOB TITLE: Bencher II

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Non-Exempt

SHIFT: 2nd - 5PM - 5AM



JOB FUNCTION

Under the Bencher Lead, Bencher II will accurately and efficiently deburr and surface finish tooling and parts manufactured to customer requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Remove burrs and apply surface finish as per Engineering planning.

* Maintain surface and contour integrity per lead bencher instructions.

* Clearly interfaces with lead bencher or person in charge of that specific tool.



EDUCATION

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.



EXPERIENCE

* 1 year experience working in a metal finishing environment utilizing Power tools.

* Be able to do +/-0.010" tolerance surface requirement.

* Must have own tools.

* Wash and clean tools.

* Paint touch up with Spray Gun.

* Hand sand tools maintaining Geometry and Tolerances.

* Stencil and metal stamp Identification on tools.
