    What is the job?
    * Equipment Development Engineer position is to develop new equipment for tests that enhance the ability to accurately measure the performance of medical devices.
    * This includes the ongoing evaluation of current and future equipment, with an emphasis on safety, ergonomics, machine capability, and machine repeatability.
    * This position works closely with Product Development Engineers to implement new test and design capabilities.
    * Translating needs into equipment requirements that describe the required functionality and performance.

    * Create Equipment Description Documents which detail the theory of operation, specifications, drawings, schematics, directions for use (DFU), calibration, maintenance, and validation requirements.

    * Work with suppliers to complete Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) as needed.
    * Create Equipment Description Documents which detail the theory of operation, specifications, drawings, schematics, directions for use (DFU), calibration, maintenance, and validation requirements.
    * Study and follow industry-leading trends that focus on building design and development capabilities. Drive and implement best practices with each project.
    What you bring to the job?
    * Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2-4 years of relevant experience in an engineering role.
    * Advanced LabVIEW experience required, LabVIEW certification a plus.
    * Intermediate SolidWorks experience, SolidWorks certification a plus.
    * Understanding of Good documentation practices.
    * Skilled in Office 365 and modern communication tools to facilitate collaboration with remote teams.
