    Customer Sales and Service Representative

    Manpower is currently seeking a Customer Sales and Service Representative to fill a permanent position with a major agricultural client in Strathmore, AB.

    Responsibilities:
    * Provide prompt service and assistance to customers in a friendly and courteous manner either in person or over the phone; build relationships with regular customers.
    * Provide guidance and assistance to other employees on product knowledge, customer service best practices and company policies and procedures.
    * Key holder responsibilities, over sight of opening and closing functions of the farm store.
    * Responsible for supporting the Store Manager with all functions related to store operations.
    * Assist with the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products.
    * Ensure that sales leads are either executed to outstanding customer service standards or are transferred using the company lead management system to an outbound sales representative for completion.
    * Perform maintenance on inventory or cycle counts, as directed.
    * Responsible for "Own the Aisle" area of assigned responsibility in store to ensure merchandising and inventory standards are consistently maintained or equivalent assigned area of responsibility in store yard.
    * Ensure store, yard, warehouses, and exterior locations are clean, neat, well organized, and in compliance with company safety and operational standards.
    * Assist with special projects, such as other support for other Farm Stores, Farm Shows, Trade Fairs, etc

    Required Education / Experience:
    * 2 years' experience in a sales roles working with building products
    * Knowledge of building codes for the products being promoted (i.e. deck, garage, pre-fabricated structures).
    * Ability to read and estimate from blueprints an asset.
    * Agricultural experience would be considered an asset.
    * Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office products
    * Self-motivated, self-starter with good organizational skills.
    * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    * Strong negotiation and sales skills with ability to build rapport and gain trust.
