    Our client, a leading company in the chemical industry, is seeking a Polymer Chemist to join their team. As a Polymer Chemist, you will be part of the Chemistry Department supporting various teams within the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in chemistry laboratory techniques, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

     

    Job Title: Polymer Chemist

    Location: Sunnyvale, CA

    Pay Range: $30.00/hr

     

    What’s the Job?

      Synthesize polymer particles using established chemistries. Participate in process optimization, development, and scale-ups for routine production. Perform analytical characterization of polymeric particles using specialty equipment and instrumentation (including ion-chromatography, particle sizing, and surface area instruments). Analyze data, derive conclusions, document findings, write SOPs, and prepare reports. Present written and oral reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups within R&D and manufacturing divisions.

     

    What’s Needed?

      Hands-on experience in the chemistry laboratory and wet chemistry techniques. Ability to summarize and present experimental results with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in a science-related field. Capable of lifting weights up to 40 lbs and meeting all physical demands to work in a chemical laboratory. Familiarity with EH&S safety requirements, participation in safety improvement activities, and adherence to ISO9001 guidelines and corporate quality policy.
