    We are seeking a casual on-call Senior Administrator/Program Assistant, for a busy health office in Gravenhurst. This role would be an excellent opportunity for someone who is retired, semi-retired or an individual not in need of regular hours. This position would be approximately 3 - 6 days per month to cover off absent or vacationing staff. This position will lead to permanent (casual on-call) for the right candidate.

    What you'll be doing:
    * Photocopying, typing correspondence, manual reports etc i.e. routine correspondence and/or generates
    * Opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail/outgoing mail
    * Main contact for internal communications
    * Provides administrative support, including room/event bookings, registration, attendance, preparing agendas, booking equipment, assisting with room set-up, preparing evaluation forms, completing meeting minutes, copying documents as required
    * Secure and/or track cheques, cash, issue receipts; follow-up invoices and payments; petty cash, OHIP billings -
    * Provides coverage to other program staff, reception & switchboard coverage
    * Manage and distribute supplies
    * Contact for general office concerns, building maintenance, cleaning, security, etc.
    * Sets up teleconferences; books meeting rooms, A/V equipment
    * Greets the public and visitors
    * Provides information, and responds to requests from the public and staff and directs inquiries
    * Manage effective communication with all staff and general public
    * Respects and ensures confidentiality in all work
    * Demonstrates a strong customer service focus in dealing both internally and externally

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities you offer:
    * Advanced proof-reading skills
    * Ability to develop/format materials in accordance with agency standards including the selection of appropriate graphics and resources
    * Records/data/file management skills (electronic & paper)
    * Able to maintain an information/resource database relevant to program/functional unity
    * Able to organize/prioritize work, effective time management (multiple tasks)
    * Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
    * Excellent written communications skills (email, taking minutes)
    * Able to work independently and in team setting

    Education:
    * College Diploma; minimum completion of one-year office administration or similar business program (HR, Medical Office Admin, Legal Admin, Accounting, Business Administration etc)

    Particulars:
    * $28.62/hr
    * 8:30am - 4:30pm
