Challenge
Following an acquisition, a medical technology company was seeking a partner to convert over 4,000 design documents to the new parent company’s SolidWorks 3D Platform technology platform. The client did not have the expertise, manpower, or the required management services to complete this task on their own.
Solution
Manpower Engineering implemented a resourced managed solution for complete program oversight, including engineering and design resources, project management, engineering/engagement management, work output & quality monitoring, metrics reporting, and document control.
Results
Manpower Engineering established a communication and change management plan that delivered results, implementing governance work cadences, and establishing a new training process for newly hired design engineers. In addition: set client stakeholder quarterly business meetings to discuss the overall program, forecast future demand needs, and eliminate hurdles to success. Also, established a new metrics reporting system that is being considered for transition to the client core team.
