Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in elastomer products, is seeking a dedicated 1st Shift Shipping professional to join their team. As a 1st Shift Shipping team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, supporting the logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: 1st Shift Shipping
Location: New Berlin, WI
Pay Range: $18 an hour
Shift: 7am – 3pm, Monday through Friday, with 2-3 Saturdays a month
What's the Job?
- Ship and/or receive all incoming or outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently
- Verify or prepare bills of lading for freight carriers and assist in loading trucks
- Count and record merchandise to ensure shipment and receipt accuracy
- Identify and log all customer returns and process accordingly
- Use UPS and FedEx systems to ship products and apply shipping information to packed cartons
