Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the foodservice and distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be an essential part of the finance department supporting invoice processing and vendor relations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Woodridge, IL

Pay Range: $18.26

Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Oversee the timely processing of vendor invoices for factory-direct orders
• Audit factory direct invoices to ensure correct costs and freight calculations
• Research inquiries from the Sales Department regarding invoices and freight rates
• Process invoices into the Accounts Payable System accurately and efficiently
• Escalate issues beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties and perform other duties as assigned

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field
• Proficiency in computer literacy and business correspondence
• Ability to problem solve, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
