AES Filing Specialist

Location: Mile 8, Laredo, TX (In-Office)
Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Our client, is seeking an AES Filing Specialist to join their team. As an AES Filing Specialist, you will be part of the compliance and operations team supporting export documentation and regulatory filing processes. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving skills that will align successfully with the organization.

What's the Job?

• Prepare and submit AES filings accurately and within required timelines.
• Review shipment documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations.
• Research and resolve filing discrepancies, errors, and shipment holds.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, internal teams, and government agencies regarding filing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and monitor export transactions to ensure regulatory compliance.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or export documentation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
